Fitness and Photography

You might wonder:  What does fitness have to do with photography or vice versa?  In some cases, there is no big connection.  However, you might have noticed that many professional photographers are relatively fit.  Coincidence?  Perhaps.  However, in order to really get out there and get good photos, it requires some physical ability.  I personally appreciate my body more these days because of what it allows me to do in the world.  That appreciation motivates me to take better care of it through diet, exercise and rest (although I tend to shortchange the rest factor and need to work on that!).  Being healthy and fit has many benefits beyond being able to fit into your favorite outfit or looking good on the beach.  Something to think about as the New Year's resolutions are swirling around.  Cheers to being your best self and living life to the fullest!
